Worship Group

Our Sunday worship is the core of our activities. To assist and support our Minister, and to ensure the Minister has to take no more than two services on a Sunday, we have an active Worship Group. The Worship Group generally now plan and arrange  our Sunday evening services, at which our worship has a less formal feel.

The success of the Group is best expressed in this quote from one of its members:

'I think most of us are reluctant to accept changes to our regular routines, and are loathe to admit that perhaps a suggested idea to alter that long-standing pattern might work.

When the Worship Group was formed, and it was agreed that they would take our service, rather than bring in pulpit supply for the third service, I think we might have been a bit wary of this new-fangled idea. However, the members of the group have shown that they are more than capable, and should be applauded for the way they have carried out this task. They are doing an excellent job.'
