Dedicated to the Church of Scotland congregation of Kirkmichael, Tinwald and Torthorwald

KTT Church has adopted the Church of Scotland ‘Unitary Constitution’.  The Kirk Session and it’s constituent committees oversea both civil and ecclesiastical issues, which includes everything from property to pastoral care and from finance to vision for the future.  The session is usually meets 7 times a year and is led by the minister as Moderator in conjunction with the Session Clerk.  We currently have 35 Elders.

The formal membership of the Church comprises those on the main roll, together with those on the supplementary roll. As at October 2019, we have 371 communicant members on the main roll and 51 on the supplementary roll.  In addition, there are a number of individuals involved in the life of the Church who are not communicant members.
